#1499, describes two legends of St. Nicholas. One of the legends is illustrated on a June
23, 1951 First Day Cover from France.

Stamps... Rev. Frank Pieper, CPC #1051,
continues to share his enjoyment of collecting with readers of the Yule Log. Rev. Pieper

'Round the World Christmas Covers...Richard
Beecher, CPC #987, illustrates a 1980 registered cover mailed from Canada to the United
States.Two copies of the 15 cents low value Christmas stamp are included in the cover's
franking. Five copies of the 1980 anti-TB Christmas seals are tied nicely to the back
flaps of the cover.
"The Carols and Songs of Christmas"...Glenn
Vasbinder, CPC #484 continues his series by describing the origins of the carols "O
Little Town of Bethlehem" and "Jingle Bells."
Christmas Philatelic Club Auction - Mary Turner and Richard Sartor describe 119 lots
of Christmas philatelic material, including stamps, U.S. 1963 First Day Covers, Portugal
Telegrams and Boas Festas cards, American Commemorative Panels, Meters, Seals and some
miscellaneous Christmas collectibles.
