Stories - "Scenes From Christmas Market". . . by Pastor Wilmer Bloy, CPC #1363 . . . Pastor Bloy
explores the significance of a colorful sheetlet issued by Belgium in 1996. On one of the
nine sheetlet stamps, you'll find Merry Christmas in Belgium's three official languages -
Dutch, German and French. Various contemporary scenes are shown on the rest of the stamps
including: the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and purchasing items for their
Christmas celebration and dinner, Santa Claus, a snow covered church. This sheetlet was so
popular that another sheetlet was issued for Christmas 2002.

Klimchalk. Ed was honored for all his volunteer work for CPC over the years. A memorial
donation in the name of Joan's late grand daughter Celeste was also presented at the CPC
Meeting.

Awards at the Palmares APS STAMPSHOW 2005, Grand Rapids, MI . . . Several CPC
members won awards for their exhibits at STAMPSHOW.

request to add your name to the election ballot. Include a short biography listing your

Christmas Seals
Dress Up the Mail. . . by Richard L.
Beecher, CPC #987. This issue Richard describes several covers with tied Christmas
seals. One is a cover from Venezuela with eight rather unChristmas-like seals attached.
Each seal says Navidad the Spanish for Christmas so the cover needs some consideration by
the collector of Christmas material.
