• "The Christmas Issues of England"... Rev. Wilmer Bloy, CPC #1363, describes several Christmas traditions in England as shown on the 1986 Christmas stamps. Rev. Bloy explains the traditions of the Glastonbury Thorn, Tanand Valley "Phygain", Hebrides Tribute, Dewesbury Church bells and the Hereford Boy Bishop.

• "Just a Sip" - Religion on Christmas Stamps... Rev. Frank Pieper, CPC #1051, continues to share his enjoyment of collecting with readers of the Yule Log. Rev. Pieper describes and illustrates how different artists depict The Annunciation to Mary.

• "Santa's Twin"...Christina Howland, CPC #810, reviews a book of this title which is a bizarre take-off on the classic "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."

• 'Round the World Christmas Covers...Richard Beecher, CPC #987, illustrates a nice usage cover of his favourite US Christmas stamp - the 1969 "Winter Sunday in Norway, MA" stamp. Mailed from Flushing, NY to Alexandria, Egypt it has four copies of the 1969 issue plus a 1 cent Thomas Jefferson stamp. The cover includes many interesting postmarks on the front as well as on its reverse.

• "The Carols and Songs of Christmas"...Glenn Vasbinder, CPC #484 continues his new series by describing the origins of the carols "O Come All Ye Faithful" and Joy to the World."

• "Christmas in September is coming!" CPC members are invited to INDYPEX in Indianapolis, Indiana, Sept. 4-6, 1998.

• "From the Desk of 'Chatty Kathy'"...Kathy Sanders, CPC #1514 issues an invitation to CPC Members using AOL to a CHAT ROOM called 'Chatty Kathy.' Kathy gives instructions on how to enter the CHAT ROOM.

• Christmas Philatelic Club Auction - Mary Turner and Richard Sartor describe 106 lots of Christmas philatelic material, including stamps, First Day Covers, Portugal Telegrams and Boas Festas cards, First Day Programs, Commemorative Panel, Seals and some miscellaneous Christmas collectibles.
