Noretta competed for the first time at the Calumet Stamp Show in March 2002 with her Christmas Seals exhibit and won a Gold and was awarded the Grand! Besides seals, Noretta also collects hat pins, vintage clothing and hats, barbershop paraphernalia and dolls.

• "'Round the World Christmas Covers" by Richard L. Beecher, CPC #987. . . shows and explains two interesting covers from Equatorial Guinea using Christmas stamps. Finding on-cover usages of its Christmas issues is quite a challenge.
