The Neighbour's Place

This is one of my favourite kinds of shots - a heavy sky opened to light up part of the landscape, so I got a bright shot with a dark sky. I love that. Not a lot of colour, but I still like it.

When you get the trees at just the right moment, on a warm day after a hard frost, they will be at their brightest.

This shot shows the colour variations that can be found even in a small area.

Unlike so many of my shots which are taken in my back yard, this one is taken in my neighbour's *front* yard. There's a lot of water around here.
